A little about me…

Originally from New York, I have been in Arizona for over ten years.   I have a multitude of experience - including working for an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), a hospital and more than fifteen years in full-time private practice.  My experience is primarily with adults in fields associated with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, anger, relationship problems, marital issues, pre-marital preparation, trauma (war, accidents, divorce, rape, abuse, etc.) and stress.

My training is in Cognitive Behavioral Techniques, Ericksonian Hypnosis, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), exploratory, supportive, marital and relationship training and Premarital Counseling using the PREP Inventory to focus on specific areas for growth. I also have training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

I received my master’s degree from The Ohio State University in Clinical Social Work.  Instead of pursuing a PhD, I decided to focus on specific trainings in areas that I felt would be most beneficial to my clients. As a result, I have extensive training in a multitude of areas that enable me to accommodate client’s specific issues.
